About UniversalPolls Account TypesSome of the UniversalPolls features like votes analysis, surveys and advertisements, is kept from our free users. All other features are available to you but there is an upper limit on their usage, only there to justify the payment for paid and professional accounts. For paid accounts, we have kept the fee to a minimum to ensure that you get more than what you pay for. |
Billing InformationFor our paid accounts, all of our credit card billing is handled by processing your transactions through PayPal. Paypal accepts all major credit cards, Wire Transfer, Check and Money Order. Also, you do not need a PayPal account to use your credit card |
All UniversalPolls polls have a link back to UniversalPolls embedded in them along with an advertisement placed by UniversalPolls from time to time. This is removed for Paid account users.
Paid account users can see extra reports for their polls such as individual vote report, voter location, and can also detect and remove fraudulent multiple votes from the same IP.
UniversalPolls has the feature for you to present your polls in your own local language. For this, along with entering your questions and answers in your local language, you also define some local translation for standard phrases used by UniversalPolls in poll and results display. Using this feature, you can present a poll in almost any language.
UniversalPolls has the feature for you to customize the display of your poll with your own styles. To preserve integrity and maintain a uniform display, you are limited to choosing one of the available styles for each major component of the poll, giving you thousands of options for the overall style.
UniversalPolls has the feature for you to define placeholders for your polls. A widget is a placeholder, which can hold any one of your polls. In a normal scenario, you would be running your polls each for a short duration of time after which, you would like to close it and start a new one. If you put the code for you poll in one of your web pages and then you close the poll or define a new one in its place, you might be required to go back and edit your poll code put on your web page. With widgets, you can change the poll from your UniversalPolls account and a new poll will dynamically replace the old one on your webpage, without you having to touch the code on your own webpage.
